Maverick Entertainment was founded by Okotoks resident Darren Brule in memory of his late son Maverick (March 12, 2005-August 9, 2014) who passed away after a lengthy battle with Alagille Syndrome.

Darren has been in the construction industry (fencing and gates) since 2014 and a resident of Okotoks since 2020. After leaving the industry he decided to get back to his roots, his first love - DJ’ing. An award-winning entertainer himself, he’s been in the Canadian music industry since 2000 as both an artist and as of late - artist manager for Country singer Chelsie Young.
